Celebrating a wedding in October in London is always a bit risky because of the weather. Once I’ve seen the beautiful garden where Mariella, Tony and their daughter Isabelle live, I really hoped that the sun would be a part of the day! Indeed, it rained that day, but only for an hour, while we were inside for the ceremony. Here, the sun knows how to respect a schedule! It’s at home that Tony and Mariella received their families and friends. Some of them were coming from as far as Italy, Mariella’s native country, to celebrate with them. The spirit of this wedding according to Mariella? « This is not a wedding. » No extravagance here, just love, friends and lots of fun

Un mariage en octobre à Londres est toujours un peu risqué côté météo. Après avoir vu le magnifique jardin où vivent Mariella, Tony et leur fille Isabelle, j’espérais très fort que le soleil se pointe le bout du nez. Et bien, imaginez-vous donc que, Londres étant ce qu’il est, il a bel et bien mouillé cette journée là, une bonne heure, l’heure où nous étions à l’intérieur pour la cérémonie. Ici, le soleil sait respecter un horaire! C’est donc à la maison que Tony et Mariella ont reçu leurs familles et amis, certains venant d’Italie, pays natals de Mariella, pour faire la fête avec eux. L’esprit de ce mariage selon Mariella? «Ceci n’est pas un mariage». Pas d’extravagance ici, juste de l’amour, des amies et beaucoup de plaisirs!
